This year I graduated from Wesleyan College, in Georgia, with honors in Advertising and Marketing Communication, cum laude. Whilst my life has taken me to different countries, I always hold dear the time I spent at ISU-learning and laughing, developing me into the person I am today. As I move forward, I am grateful to my teachers who guided and inspired me in my journey.Sonya D'SouzaISU, Class of 2012
CEO, NIMONS LLC
Batsaikhan, or Batka, like his friends call him, is an 2006 ISU graduate who is now successfully running his family business, NIMONS LLC, and is currently serving as the CEO. While attending ISU, he was an avid basketball player, scoring one of the first goals for the Golden Eagles under coach Butch Elgear. He continues to hang out with his ISU classmates Dagi, Mungun, Erbold, Sodgerel, Munkhzul, Taivan and attributes “making lifelong friends” as one of the highlights of attending ISU. He also believes that doing the IB Diploma helped him tremendously in University and excused him from having to take Math, thus allowing him to pursue a Minor in Investment Banking. Batka, who is an adrenaline junkie (one of his favorite pastimes includes dirt biking with ISU parent Tommy) claims one of his best memories from ISU is going on camping trips with his classmates. When asked if he has yet achieved his lifelong dream, he claimed “not yet. I want to become a successful businessman one day”.
His advice to current ISU students: “Study hard, pay attention in class- it will help you have an easier time in University. Also, find a University that accepts and recognizes the IB Diploma.”
Batka is married with one daughter, Esuugen, two years old, whom he plans to enroll in ISU Pre-School. He wants his daughter gain the same education he did and to study abroad one day, make international friends and become independent.
