ISU STUDENT AWARDS PROGRAMME
ISU provides a balanced educational programme guided by the International Baccalaureate and comprising four areas in which ISU students are expected to demonstrate success and growth: academics; arts, athletics; citizenship.
At ISU students earn various awards when they demonstrate such success and growth in these four areas. These awards are organised within our House points system, our sports programme, and our end-of-year awards.
All of our programmes and practices, including our awards programme, are motivated by our educational philosophy as illustrated by our school motto:
Empowering Students to Make a Difference
Education in Mind
Community in Heart
Success in Life
The underlying aims of our awards programme is to:
- promote ISU’s ideals
- build school community
- celebrate student effort and achievement
- promote student leadership
- recognise students publicly
