Home Country Celebration Assembly, Friday October 20, 8:30am
As part of International Week, we will be holding a Home Country Celebration Assembly on Friday, 20th October. This assembly will include performances from our own students, staff and parents to help us celebrate the diversity of our school.
The Parade of Nations Committee
IB World School (IB)
As a fully-authorised IB World School, ISU offers three IB programmes - the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). To maintain this authorisation, a regular and intensive process of evaluation by the IB is undertaken to ensure that we are adhering to the mission and commitment of the IB to quality international education.
The Council of International Schools (CIS)
CIS is based in the United Kingdom and is the premier organisation in International Education for the accreditation and Best Practice development. International Accreditation also means that the graduates from our schools are recognized worldwide by universities worldwide, because they have graduated from ISU.
New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
NEASC is based in the New England region of the United States and accredits schools both within the USA and international schools worldwide.
International Accreditation also means that the graduates from our schools are recognized worldwide by universities because they have graduated from ISU.
We are very proud of our status with both of these organisations and continue to work hard to maintain this status. In 2012, ISU was granted 10-year re-accreditation by both CIS and NEASC according to the CIS 8th Edition standards.
